Recipe:

- 60ml pisco

- 15ml Chartreuse Jaune

- 22.5ml fresh grapefruit juice

- 15ml hibiscus tea syrup

Shake everything on ice, strain into a prechilled rocks glass on ice, optional garnish: grapefruit zest.

Out of two drinks I tested that day with grapefruit, this one came out as the more interesting winner (no wonder, the other one was with gin...;)).

I am wondering how you get such an intense Negroni color like on Liquor.com (see below) with cloudy grapefruit juice, it probably has been clarified for the photo.

It has a really unique aroma combo, the very fresh grapeiness with noticeable honeyed herbal notes from the Chartreuse and the fresh but also slightly bitter grapefruit. Refreshing, subtly fruity and yet also slightly sweet-herbal, very unusual for such a drink, not just some 40ml+ juice and typical "summer drink" nonsense.
