Recipe:

- 45ml blanco tequila

- 15ml Chartreuse Jaune

- 15ml Campari

- 15ml sweet vermouth

Stir everything on ice for about 30 rotations, strain into a prechilled cocktail glass, slap one big basil leaf to activate, use as garnish.

A blend of fresh agave, herbal honey, subtle vegetable notes, bitter orange and grapefruit zest. The basil on the nose adds some herbal depth, especially in the later stages of the drink. An ideal companion to a mediterranean cheese/ham platter, I speak from experience…
