Pera Te
Recipe:
- 45ml black tea-infused blanco tequila
- 22.5ml mezcal
- 45ml pear puree
- 22.5ml fresh lime juice
- 22.5ml agave nectar
Shake everything over ice until sufficiently chilled. Fine strain into a prechilled highball glass over ice, garnish with some pear slices.
An almost classic combination, black tea and pear, earthiness and rather subtle, light fruit. It works wonderfully here, the agave makes the whole thing slightly exotic, a malty Highland malt would certainly also work well. Another spontanous idea and last advice concerning this nice longdrink, to give the whole thing a little more zing in the mouth: Just a small splash of soda, 30-45ml max, stir well.
Notes of agave, black tea, pear, nuts and subtle smoke (the intensity of course depends heavily on the mezcal), an easy sipper with a nice complexity nonetheless.
