One of my favorite long drinks from the "Regarding Cocktails"!

Rye whiskey is, as the spiciest and most assertive whisk(e)y category, a little underused in long drinks in my opinion. Some small advice from my side would be to add 2-3 4x4cm zests to the two orange slices in the shaker to get some of the nice bitterness. Otherwise, there is nothing to complain about, the rye comes through nicely, the orange is really just there as a flavoring agent this way, without watering it down too much. The soda stretches efficiently so the flavors can be nicely diffused in the mouth, very tasty.
