Adapted Recipe:

- 50ml dry gin

- 12.5ml banana liqueur

- 12.5ml fino sherry

- 22.5ml fresh lemon juice

- 10ml simple syrup

(optional:)

- 2 dashes The Bitter Truth Aromatic Leaf bitters

- 1 dash The Bitter Truth Island Fruit bitters

Shake everything on ice until sufficiently chilled, strain into a prechilled cocktail glass. No garnish (optional: dried banana chips).


Very rarely you find gin of all things with banana in a duet and then also fino? Count me in! The Diffordsguide recipe (see the link down below) was in turn adapted from the well-known Dandelyan bar, London. I have changed only the ratio a bit (citrus down, fino up for more dryness) and (purely optional, try it without!) added a few matching bitters for the final touch and some depth. A classy dry and tart gin drink with an unusual combination of flavors, juniper, nutty notes, banana, citrus, etc.
