Recipe:

- 30ml Apple Brandy

- 30ml Cynar

- 15ml Blanc Vermouth

- 7.5ml Branca Menta

Stir without ice until everything blended together, serve at room temperature.

Another very nice room temperature drink and, as is so often the case, again from Sother Teague's Bar, Amor Y Amargo. The man just knows how to do it. The cocktail here comes (as far as I researched it) from a certain concept in 2020, in which several drinks were served with food pairing in the bar, here it was accompanied by “slow-cooked navy beans with garlic confit, blistered tomatoes, mint, and toast”.

Smooth and with exciting flavor combinations that you don't find every day. The bright and fresh notes of the apple brandy, whether Calvados or brandy and the bianco of choice, play beautifully with the bitter and dark aromas of Cynar and Branca Menta. This gives it slightly funky tones, especially in the first sip, as you're not used to this mixture of crisp apple, mint, herbs and artichoke. But we really, really like it.
